The Shimano XTR M9100 group was developed to meet the demands of mountainbike racers at the highest level and guarantees « second to none » performance. The range offers the most versatile components for XC, Enduro and Marathon races.
Shimano XTR FH-M9111-B freehub
The Shimano XTR FH-M9111-B rear hub with Centerlock brake disc mount is very durable and reliable thanks to its high-quality labyrinth and contact sealings. In addition cup-and-cone-bearings guarantee smooth rolling characteristics while the hub body and axle made of anodized aluminium ensure for better stiffness without raising the weight.
For the XTR 12-speed cassettes, Shimano has revised the freewheel design of the FH-M9111 hubs and introduced the Micro Spline technology developed in cooperation with DT Swiss. The freewheel with 22 evenly spaced teeth keeps the cassette firmly under control for immediate response and also allows the use of a 10 teeth sprocket, which is provided by the XTR M9100 cassettes matched to the Micro Spline system.
